Every year, members of the U.S. House of Representatives sponsor a nation-wide arts competition open to all high school students. The winning piece in each district will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, and the student artists will be invited to attend the national winners' reception in Washington D.C. Learn more.

The Westobou Artist in Residence program awards free studio space to an emerging or mid-career Augusta-based visual artists for one year at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art (GHIA).
